Wrinkles, one of the inevitable signs of aging. But this does not mean that to deal with them is useless. Skin protection from ultraviolet radiation is one of the most effective ways to protect against the formation of wrinkles, sagging and discoloration of the skin. Some people use medical methods like chemical peels, botox, and surgery. All these on the external ways, but is there anything that helps to fight wrinkles from the inside? Let’s see, how foods help to fight wrinkles.

An international team of scientists at the University of Melbourne conducted a study of the effect of diet on the formation of wrinkles. The study involved 450 people aged 70 years or older. It was found that the least wrinkle was among those who ate mostly vegetables, olive oil, fish, legumes, low fat dairy products and tea.

Based on the results of the study, compiled a comprehensive list of products that can protect you from the appearance of wrinkles:

The numbers of "magic" ingredients that help in the fight against wrinkles are monounsaturated fats, vitamin C, retinol, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and zinc.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals, unstable oxygen molecules generated by the impact of an unfavorable environment, solar radiation and stress. Free radicals attack healthy skin cells and cause the decomposition of collagen, which ultimately leads to the formation of wrinkles. Antioxidant, which is rich in green tea, vitamins C and E, and coenzyme Q10, are working to neutralize free radicals.

Vitamin A is one of the fat-soluble vitamins, retinol, and one of its most active forms. Retinol is essential for growth and repair of the skin, as well as for the differentiation of epithelial tissue. This is important because the skin is aging over time, resulting in the formation of wrinkles, roughness, discoloration and thinning of the skin. Retinol helps to fight this negative effect and maintain healthy skin. This vitamin is found in animal foods such as liver and eggs, as well as in certain foods rich in vitamins.

Iron helps to ensure adequate nutrition of the skin with oxygen and zinc stimulates cell growth and repair, as a key component of enzymes that ensure the production of collagen. Without zinc enzymes reproducing new collagen will not work properly.

So, take these foods often to fight wrinkles.
